Deborah DiSanzo Deborah DiSanzo, General Manager, IBM Watson Health

Deborah DiSanzo is the global General Manager for IBM Watson Health, the business unit founded to achieve IBMs next 'moonshot': to advance health at a global scale. Deborah leads a global team of medical experts to health economists to data scientists, UX experts and developers. Under her leadership, Watson Health has secured relationships with top collaborators, partners and clients across healthcare and life sciences. Watson Health's ecosystem leads the industry in its breadth and depth, including work with J&J, Medtronic, Celgene Corporation, and Siemens Healthineers as well as leading academic and community providers around the globe such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Cleveland Clinic, and Mayo Clinic. In 2016, Deborah was honored by multiple organizations as a top health influencer, including Health Data Management (HDM). HDM named her one of the top 20 people to watch in healthcare IT in 2017 - the only tech industry leader to make the exclusive list. Deborah was also named to Modern Healthcare's Top 25 Women in Healthcare for 2017. Deborah has been recognized by Babson College for her impact in the world as one of the institutions leading entrepreneurial alumni leaders, and is a sought-after speaker on topics ranging from the future of healthcare to women in technology at venues including the Forbes Healthcare Summit and the Aspen Ideas Festival. A dedicated community leader, Deborah is currently focused on domestic and global programs with organizations including the World Economic Forum, Project Hope, and the American Heart Association. Deborah has a distinguished career working at the intersection of healthcare and technology. Prior to joining IBM, she was CEO of Philips Healthcare. Previously, she held management roles at Hewlett-Packard and Apollo Computer. Deborah earned an MBA from Babson College and a BS from Merrimack College. Kristen Hanich studies digital and connected health and mobile trends across the globe. Kristen is a trained anthropologist with skills in ethnography, development/programming, and geoanalytics. She has a background in the areas of health behavior and epidemiology.

Kristen is completing her Master's thesis for a duel anthropology and public health degree between the Universities of North Texas in Denton and Fort Worth. She earned her B.Sc. in health at the University of Texas at San Antonio and has a graduate certificate in GIS.

As Director, Research Quality & Product Development, Jennifer manages Parks Associates' process for producing high-quality, relevant, and meaningful research. She acts as an internal advocate for Parks Associates clients and leads the company’s efforts at conceptualizing and implementing digestible, relevant research presented in an optimal manner. Jennifer is always looking at the most effective ways to provide research to Parks Associates clients.

Since joining Parks Associates in 2009, Jennifer has worked on the mobile and health research team, specializing in the connected health, mobile payment, and connected car markets, as well as the consumer research team, analyzing consumer data related to the connected home and consumer electronics markets.

Jennifer earned her Ph.D. in religion, politics, and society and an M.A. in church-state studies from Baylor University. She earned her B.A. in politics from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
