Deborah DiSanzo Deborah DiSanzo, General Manager, IBM Watson Health

Deborah DiSanzo is the global General Manager for IBM Watson Health, the business unit founded to achieve IBMs next 'moonshot': to advance health at a global scale. Deborah leads a global team of medical experts to health economists to data scientists, UX experts and developers. Under her leadership, Watson Health has secured relationships with top collaborators, partners and clients across healthcare and life sciences. Watson Health's ecosystem leads the industry in its breadth and depth, including work with J&J, Medtronic, Celgene Corporation, and Siemens Healthineers as well as leading academic and community providers around the globe such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Cleveland Clinic, and Mayo Clinic. In 2016, Deborah was honored by multiple organizations as a top health influencer, including Health Data Management (HDM). HDM named her one of the top 20 people to watch in healthcare IT in 2017 - the only tech industry leader to make the exclusive list. Deborah was also named to Modern Healthcare's Top 25 Women in Healthcare for 2017. Bryan Adams is the Chief Commercial Officer of GreatCall, Inc., the leader in connected health for active aging. Bryan joined the company in December of 2016 as a part of the Healthsense acquisition. Bryan leads a cross-functional team that addresses two related areas. The first is the company's broad data science initiative: leveraging the company's sizable data set to improve the experience for both internal and external customers. The second is the commercial product: ensuring that the GreatCall offering in the healthcare space both leverages the company's data science department and meets the broader needs of the market. Prior to GreatCall, Bryan was the CTO at Healthsense for almost five years, where he led the engineering, IT, product management, customer service, and clinical service teams. Prior to that, he was the CTO and founder of a startup in the mobile advertising space, and prior to that he was a Principal Investigator at iRobot, helping them start a healthcare group. He holds a BS, MEng, and PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Chuck Hector Chuck Hector, Chief Sales Officer, MDLIVE, Inc.

Based in Chicago, IL, Chuck Hector has more than 25 years of experience in health care serving in multiple corporate development and executive leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Revenue Officer of Sunrise, Florida-based MDLIVE, Chuck leads the organizations business strategy and revenue acquisition in the rapidly emerging telehealth segment.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois; and his Masters of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in health care administration.

He spent 10 years with science and medical publisher Reed Elsevier launching what is today the leading medical device OEM journal, Medical Design Technology™. In that role Chuck was distinguished as the solo producer achieving the highest revenue goal over target out of 1,480 contemporaries, an honor he accepted at the President's Club retreat in Venice, Italy. In 2003, Chuck was named Vice President of Global Sales at ComPsych™ Corporation, the largest EAP and managed behavioral health organization (MBHO) worldwide prior to their acquisition by Summit Partners.

Chuck became Senior Vice President of Sales at IncentOne™ in 2007, the leading provider of SaaS health incentive technology solutions to the health care industry, participating in diligence for institutional capital leading to a $50 million valuation from Camden Partners. In this role he managed the sales and service enterprise instrumental in building collaborative relationships with complex purchasing teams at 26 national managed care organizations. Most recently, he was the Chief Business Officer at CSI, Inc., the largest provider of self-service, health monitoring kiosks in the United States to large employers and health plans where his team revolutionized physician telehealth consultations using two-way video applications in the work place.

A Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) Chuck is an active member of 5 health management advisory panels and is board member to an early stage behavioral health care concern. He resides in suburban Chicago with his wife and 4 children.

Lainie Muller is a 15-year veteran of the technology industry and an emerging voice on Smart Solutions for Aging in Place and Connected Caregiving.

Lainie is Director of Wellness at Alarm.com, a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: ALRM)and the nation’s leading cloud-based platform for the smart home. The Wellness solution leverages Smart Home technology to support Aging in Place and independent living for older adults and those living with disabilities. Wellness, an integrated element of Alarm.com’s comprehensive ecosystem of home management technology, is currently in use in residential homes, senior living communities, schools and in remote caregiving programs funded by Medicare and Medicaid.  The product has received critical acclaim from The New York Times, Kiplingers, CNN, NPR and TechCrunch.

In 2010, Lainie joined BeClose, a privately funded start-up company, as the Director of Partnership Sales. In 2015, BeClose was “spun-in” to Alarm.com, an early-stage strategic investor of the company. The BeClose product is now available as Alarm.com Wellness.

Prior to BeClose, Lainie served as National Sales Manager, Major Accounts Unit (MAU) at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, the online subsidiary of The Washington Post company, where she led a top revenue producing team driving Healthcare, Consumer Electronics and Retail sales.

Lainie has been an active Board Member for the National Capitol Area Chapter, Alzheimer’s Association since 2012. She holds a BS in Business and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. Lainie lives in Chevy Chase, MD with her husband and two teenage boys.

Himanshu Shah Himanshu Shah, Chief Information Officer, Care Innovations, an Intel company

Himanshu Shah serves as Care Innovations' Chief Information Officer. He is a member of the executive leadership team. In his role, Himanshu leads the company's information technology team, who is responsible for setting product technology plans and delivering all technology services. Kristen Hanich studies digital and connected health and mobile trends across the globe. Kristen is a trained anthropologist with skills in ethnography, development/programming, and geoanalytics. She has a background in the areas of health behavior and epidemiology.

Kristen is completing her Master's thesis for a duel anthropology and public health degree between the Universities of North Texas in Denton and Fort Worth. She earned her B.Sc. in health at the University of Texas at San Antonio and has a graduate certificate in GIS.
